Although I had managed to get some good quality local press previously, for my new fiction collaboration book Connections I wanted to get more coverage nationally due to the authors being spread across the country. I didn't have either the time or the contacts to do so and so felt out of my depth. When I came across Hannah from Hawthorn House PR I realised that she could solve my problems. We had a great initial call, we were both excited about the project and Hannah worked with me to get the best coverage possible. When my Google alerts started pinging with lots of different pieces featuring Fuzzy Flamingo and my authors it was really exciting, and the experiences the authors had being interviewed for magazines, newspapers and the radio was really positive. We all felt like we were in safe hands with Hawthorn House PR and I would absolutely use them again for my next project.
