The Dunster Mill House is an exceptional place to call Home for a week. Karen and Peter were the consummate hosts. Only a handful of times in our many travels had we been given a slice of cake and cup of hot brew to welcome us in. I was a little dubious of not having its own parking. But we later found we could drive near to the House to drop our luggage off. We have given these instructions to our daughter who is joining us later in the week. Anyway the car park is literally a few minutes away and so was not a hardship in bringing our luggage. Depending on how long you stay dictates on how much you pay in parking. We were 5 days so I paid daily. Using the Payby phone app. Instructions are on the board in the car park. Warning, bring a torch when coming at night. For obvious reasons it is not well lit. The decor through out the house is very classical and looks like it has been recently done. The rooms are spacious containing everything you need. Lots of lighting, plug points, beautiful shower room, seating and storage space. Breakfast is regular times in the morning. Latest is 9.15am, which we chose. Earliest is around 7.30. All the information is in their personally made guidebook. Also has WiFi which is great to share photos and messages during the day's trip. Breakfast is delightful and you have a range from cereals to cooked Breakfast. You complete the form the night before and just leave it for them to pick up in the evening. I had Muesli which is straight from the Mill. Absolutely out of this world. The breakfast really sets you up for the day. Karen and Peter are on hand to offer their wisdom on places to go, to eat and just generally make you feel very welcome. There is also a special treat for those cat lovers. They have a cat called Sir Eric who is found in various places in the house. Especially where there is company. It really sets this House apart and I will definitely recommend for those visiting these parts.
