Ridge Roofing

I contacted and spoke to Steve about a workshop roof that had box profile metal sheets fitted. The company that fitted the box profile sheets rushed the job and in some cases missed the purlins so drilled roofing screws straight through the roof ... I plugged those holes and thought all was okay until this year I started getting some leaks and water in the workshop...in a nut shell the company had driven some screws in way too hard crushing the washers and some on angles. I called numerous companies who suggested cheap products from your local DIY chains but after speaking to Steve realised that would be a very temporary fix and as Steve and his company had dealt with this issue before took his professional advice for which i was very grateful. If you want an honest decent roofing company and roofer you won't go wrong!! I would highly recommend this company to do it once or you'll be doing it twice or thrice at great expense and frustration with most other companies!! Having read the good reviews of this family company and wanting to support local, we thought this would be a good company to approach for a flat roof inspection. We were disappointed with the lack of enthusiasm. Despite 2 or 3 messages and 2 phone calls, and promises of days when they would arrive, they were a no show. We have now had the roof inspected by a another company who were prompt and professional.

We had our full roof replaced on a 1940s property, keeping the existing tiles, and we are very happy with the quality and efficiency of the work carried out. The new wood battens and roofing membrane used were all high quality materials. and there was an immediate and noticeable improvement in airflow to the attic, reduced noise during heavy rainfall, and absolutely no water ingress anywhere. They kept the site clear for us during the works, and cleared down all of the mess and dust at the end. They were also able to acquire good quality and matching tiles where the originals were broken, or had been previously replaced with a non matching tile. As someone that knows a limited amount about roofing, I was also very impressed with the explanation and detail given regarding the condition of the old existing roof during the original quote. Steve carried out a detailed inspection and then outlined all of the different options available for repair. This helped us to decide for ourselves which work was carried out, as we were able to make an informed decision about which work represented better value for us, in terms of longevity, and cost. This shows me that they are a very reputable and honest company, as the work was not pushed upon us at all. Whilst the work was carried out , the 2 roofers also gave regular updates to what work they were carrying out each day, which was reassuring and welcomed. Overall we cannot fault the work, and I would highly recommend this company. James

The quote they gave was by far the most competitive of all the companies I asked. Once we agreed on a date, I phoned to confirm with Steve a few days before and happily, they turned up to erect the scaffolding needed exactly when he said they would. The team were efficient, courteous and very professional. A credit to the company. The roofers turned up to start work and quickly identified the problem, pointed it out to me and rectified it. They too worked efficiently and respectfully and very quickly sorted the whole roof. Whenever I needed to speak to Steve or Darren for advice they were available or called back quickly.
