The house is huge. Don't expect modern, this is a period house. We are in a party of 14 with a few beds to spare. Some rooms are en suite, others with shared, huge, bathrooms. The house has central heating but an open fire in the lounge is a warming addition. The games room is fabulous with a full size snooker table and darts board. The kitchen and utility room are both well stocked with everything you need. Off the beaten track, gloriously quiet, splendid walks and comfy beds. A superb house for a weekend family party.

Huge place but it needs a good scrub. Scaffolding up due to water damage and scheduled work that we weren't advised of all during our week long stay. The owner Ian seemed surprised when I mentioned this in my review on Airbnb. Wifi only works in one room

A beautiful house. It is quite big and most of the rooms are amazing. With scheduled work in July, it will be a better place. Stayed there with three families and there were room for plenty more. Loved the kitchen. The house has an old world charm. It is difficult to reach there without proper instructions but once you are there, the place with captivate you.
