Today I came in for Christmas shopping and the staff from the floor was very disrespectful and unprofessional. I explained to her in regards to re-purchasing the clothes I only purchased a few days ago just to receive the points as a member and I also mentioned that I told from another staff it was ok to do so as I could not collect the points then.
I overheard she was talking about me to her colleague as if I couldnt hear their conversation at the till while I was still shopping. I heard she assumed that I only wanted to do it for the Christmas lucky dip offer I received, but I genuinely wanted to buy more clothes for my son and she witnessed I was shopping for new clothes as I asked her for bigger sizes.
Then when I went to the till to pay, the other staff she was speaking to also gave me a rude attitude in regards to claiming my points and re-purchasing. I felt like she was influenced to what she was told earlier when they were discussing the situation.
I understand they wanted to make sales but the behaviour is unacceptable. I know this for a fact as I have previously worked in retail for many years and Customer service is always priority.
This is not the way you should treat your customers regardless of the situation! I felt very uncomfortable shopping there today.
Please take this seriously, as a discussion / warning is not enough. You have lost a regular customer!
