My company has worked with Wimbledon Windows for 7 years and they have done many installations for our clients and do a great job. If there are any snagging issues they are resolved straight away and the team are always very helpful. The aluminium and uPVC products are premium brands and we get no problems with them.

They gave a quote, then never heard from them again when asked when can they come over to measure. How can I trust with my money, someone who lacks basic communication?

Paid 50% deposit for double glazed windows, not a small amount and now being ignored. I have sent 2 emails to get an update on the date for install (now overdue on promised) and have had zero reply. Not sure if these guys have just taken my money and not intending to do the work, if they have gone out of business, or if their handling and managing of projects just sucks!

Rude. I as the customer had to call THEM 5 times each time politely asking if I could speak to someone about my quote I was given each time to be told Tim will call me back but he never did for weeks I waited..,it's been months now. I emailed him thanking him for the quote and asked if we could discuss it and both emails I sent he totally ignored! Very rude and unprofessional, I mean I've used Anglian for the rest of my 14 windows, one set of French doors and a front door so will just go back to them for the last 4 I need doing even if they do cost more, at least they're professional and ring you back and answer emails! In reply to you, so I got the name Tim wrong big deal, it was definitely Wimbledon Windows! I have the emails I sent to you all. The reason I didn't go to Anglian was because they are obviously a lot more expensive and after I saw the window you did for my best mate recently I thought if you can do a simple small window like that at half the cost why not go to you, but then you all totally ignored me for some reason, maybe you just didn't like the sound of my name, who knows but I went with another local company who finished them all off nicely yesterday thank you.

Avoid at all costs Just had a job completed by Wimbledon Windows and would recommend you steer well clear. Quotation and deposit paid Sept 2022. At this time we told the company we would be having external insulation fitted directly after the windows were fitted so adjustments to dimensions were made for this. Second measuring visit requested by WW in Sept but they did not get anyone to us until early Nov. We were asked to sign off these measurements after a further month in early Dec. Order not placed on manufacturer until early Jan. Work scheduled for one week in Feb. Ended up taking three weeks despite our builder putting up scaffolding to assist with external access and WW not having to make good on external side as this was covered with the external insulation we fitted. Total number of items to install = 13. Total number of items requiring corrective action = 13, every single item required at least one piece of corrective work including 1 window being remade as it had been incorrectly measured, 3 delivered with broken glass units, 1 delivered with broken fittings). Delivery of broken units could be at supplier end but it shows that in this chain no one cares about quality. Number of corrective maintenance visits within 2 weeks of the job being finished = 2. Pictures attached to show initial attempt at internal fitting of cills . This all had to be redone and when it was redone we had to redecorate 50% of the cills I had just decorated as the new paint was scratched and damaged in the middle of the cill, nowhere near the parts being replaced. Also attached image showing how items were left during the build when they initially left site, bear in mind other trades are trying to work on that scaffolding whilst WW were not here. Final images are the end caps on external windows - 6 of 8 fitted were simply not glued in place and so at first high wind and rain gaps started to open and rain was able to get into the cill. I had a number of calls with WW and had the owners round a few times during the build to see the state of the works. Some actions were taken but it was always me pushing them, not them seeing the initial state and then project managing things correctly from then on. If you want to hire a company to come in, do a high quality piece of work on time then Id recommend staying away from Wimbledon Windows. I will contrast them with my builder who did the external insulation work who was on time, on budget, has done a super job and I would recommend his firm to anyone looking to do the same.
