The pharmacist really needs to work on his interpersonal skills. With more people being encouraged to use pharmacies rather than doctors I don't belive I would be comfortable discussing things with him . He can be very ubrubt and rude. This may not be intended but non the less its off-putting. Routine medication is rarely there on a late perscription. Normally 48hr wait.

Cannot understand the negative reviews. We always find the pharmacist, Pad, and his staff very helpful. In our experience he goes above and beyond in providing excellent service.

Great local pharmacy run by a lovely family. Always polite, always very obliging and helpful. If they haven't got what you want, they'll get it in the next day for you. A credit to the local community.

Very poor service. The main pharmacist can be extremely rude and abrupt. He was also intentionally withholding medication to be difficult. He obviously took a dislike to me which is fine, but he allowed this to enter his personal judgement and gave me poor service as a result which is not acceptable in a clinical or healthcare setting. I was messed around on collection times. On one occasion I was told to collect my prescription at 2pm. I arrived ten minutes early and he told me the delivery had not been received yet. He didn't realise I was parked outside and I waited, no delivery was made and when I went back in right at 2pm the medication was suddenly there. On another occasion a prescription was ordered and when I called I was told it had to be ordered in. Skeptical of this I requested the prescription to be returned to the 'Spine' so I could collect it at another pharmacy. I was then told he would refuse me service again and said "If I return it then you won't be able to get prescriptions here again". I said that is fine and presumed it was being returned and I prepared to collect it from another pharmacy. Ten minutes later his wife phoned me and told me that the medication was there and ready to collect and I was given a pretty predictable excuse that they didn't realise it was already there (the same excuse given to me time and time again previously). This pretty much confirmed to me beyond all doubt that delaying my medications with excuses was routine for him and it was nothing more than mind games. Totally unprofessional and downright nasty to treat patients this way in a healthcare setting. The women were always polite and helpful so the main problem lies with the main pharmacist. His behaviour towards me was rude, nasty, unprofessional and quite possibly a breach of the professional standards that the CQC rightly expect from their pharmacists. I am considering a subject access request to take this further. This man should not be licenced as a pharmacist in my opinion.
