We loved it here! Excellent quality food - pub fare but to restaurant standard - very friendly and welcoming service, and an all round lovely atmosphere. So good that whilst paying the bill we booked to come again the following night (despite having planned to eat at our holiday cottage) and somehow had an even better evening. The staff had prepared for our five year-old son returning and seated us right next to the fire, with some special kids cutlery, and greeted him by name - which all made him feel like the king of the pub. We will absolutely make a point of heading back to the Plough next time we are in Cornwall!

We had a fabulous celebratory birthday meal at the plough. We were a large group of 17. They kindly opened for us on a Saturday lunch time .We preordered the food and it was delicious. All served quickly and efficiently and with a lovely manner. Kid-friendliness: We had 4 kids(4-10) in the group. The staff were so lovely with them and the food was perfect.
