Town Hall Surgery

Absolutely shocking surgery, tried to book an appointment but told I need to phone first thing in the morning for appointments, after explaining I work nights and that I'll be asleep by the time the phone lines are open I was told 'there's not much they can do' !!! Clearly don't understand that some people actually work. I was with my previous practice for over 20 years and never encountered anything like this. Been with this surgery for two years now and this is the first appointment I've needed. I'll be looking to move surgery for one that accommodates working people

Shocking... Wish Dr. Malik didn't leave, its gone down hill since he has. Can't get any help, you're waiting months, you send prescriptions in and don't receive them. The current GPs cannot get dosage correct when they do send it out. So glad I've moved, best thing I did.

I dont usually leave many reviews but I really felt the need to come on and leave a review for Town Hall Surgery! I have only recently moved to the surgery as I moved to Dukinfield from Romiley in Stockport and in the short time I have been with them they have been nothing short of fantastic! The Drs are all so thorough and so lovely & equally so the medical receptionists are too! So helpful & so accommodating! For one reason or another Ive found myself being referred on the urgent cancer pathway today which is something I would ordinarily get extremely anxious about but after a conversation with the lovely Dr Stone today Im managing to keep things in perspective until such time as Im told I definitely need to worry! (Which hopefully wont ever happen?) And thats a first for me but I firmly believe this is due to the wonderful manner & calming approach of Dr Stone. Janet the practice nurse is really lovely too & it was in fact Janet that suggested I have a word with the Dr about my symptoms which led to the referral for further investigations - so really every member of staff that Ive had dealings with at Town Hall Surgery since registering with them a few weeks ago - from all of the Drs there to the practice nurse to the medical receptionists have been nothing short of fantastic! And I cant thank them all enough for being so thorough but also so caring in their approach. During such trying & uncertain times and being under so much pressure due to the pandemic makes their professionalism & caring attitude even more impressive. My daughter is a nurse and I know shed be proud to refer to all the staff at Town Hall Surgery as her NHS colleagues with the wonderful service they are providing - as sometimes its not just the physical well-being of a patient that counts the most but their emotional well being too! And Town Hall Surgery are definitely considerate of both in my experience x
