My Mum ( Frances ) moved in to Springwood House a year ago this Friday. She could not be in a better HOME. Its a small family run home and is run with such care for the folks who live there. Everything that Mum needs is provided, but its the personal family atmosphere there that really sets Springwood apart. The house is beautiful (1897 stone built) and sits in lovely grounds that the residents can enjoy ( and the staff hold gardening activities for those who wish to join in). There are daily activities for the residents including chair yoga, baking, seasonal decorations and even visits from some fabulous creatures to cuddle! The local community is very involved with visits and performances from children at local schools and concerts too.The views are stunning and the house is cozy in its feel. The rooms are individual with character- and well kept. When I visit Mum I can often smell the wonderful food being prepared and Id love to stay too! All meals are made from scratch to a very high standard which is so important for all there. Great care is taken to protect everyone there health-wise too. We have been extremely blessed to find Springwood and I would strongly recommend it to anyone who is looking for such a place for a loved one.
