Before applying for Voyage Care cedar Rd I suggest you do extensive research by reading reviews from previous employees. I used to read reviews of Voyage Care myself and other staff and shrug them off until we experienced first-hand what it was actually like working for them. For a company who suggest they care there is zero compassion for staff and sometimes the people being supported. Voyage is a business and once you work for them you immediately becomes very clear, its always about money and budgets, targets and bonuses for management and quality of care goes out of the window and ultimately people suffer because of this. From my experience at Voyage, inexperienced people are promoted so quickly (believe me myself and other staff have witnessed this happen) that some support staff end up being a bunch of inexperienced people not knowing what they are doing. The only redeeming feature was that I made lifelong friends due to us having to band together to survive. That creates an unbreakable bond you know who you are Finally, youre not allowed to speak up, if you dare speak up about something youve seen youll be bullied and made to feel a outsider. Voyage is a horrible company and the staff turnover in the services Cedar Rd is proof enough, my time working in Voyage I saw new staff every month because people couldnt bare working for them. I strongly suggest you read all comments from previous employees and people thinking of letting there loved ones stay there and to get a true picture of this company who supposedly promote care and show none. Good luck.

The worst care home Ive ever known. Very unprofessional management. A lot of unprofessional staff. Service users are not supported like they are supposed to be. They are not promoted to be independent. They hardly ever access the community like advertised and high staffing levels are none existent. Every single day is short staffed. Hardly any training given to new staff. Have had several situations with staff members reported and nothing been done about it even when it was regarding neglect or abuse. Absoloutley disgusting. So many CQC reports and safeguardings Im not sure how theyre even still open

Fantastic care home, Special shout out to the Night staff who were very professional, helpful, polite and caring. Also a mention to the cleaning staff, every morning the place looked like you could eat your breakfast off the floor. These are the people that Voyage should be very proud of.

Awful place! Witnessed senior staff talking down to the residents and telling them off in front of visitors...shameful! Wouldn't recommend vulnerable people to stay there.
