Basic kind of place but helped my Brother and my family through a difficult period. Staff seem efficient and kind.

What a shambles of a company. The office staff are disgusting, they have no manners and speak to you very abruptly! Complaints are not listened to. Half of the staff are not trained properly,,, Workers are just dragging clients up the bed, no use of slide sheets. Too many clients given to one person at a time. My brother and I did an internet search for care homes when my father became too ill for us to manage. We visited most of those appearing in the top 10 in our area with no prior warning of our visit. Nelson House was head and shoulders ahead of the next best and was chosen by us to look after our father Charles Grigg. In the short time he was in their care he could not have had better treatment in every respect. The staff were caring and very attentive and we were impressed by the fact that the owners spend a great deal of time at the home.
