Terrible place terrible manager I wudnt put my dog in there I gave up my job n reported the place if you love your family dont put them in there!

Mum has recently moved to Himley Manor and it's so much nicer than her previous one (whose management always made an issue about weekend visiting - the only time I can actually go). The exterior of the building looks smart and tidy and there's a decent car park and well kept surrounding trees. The staff I met were all kind, sympathetic and caring and Mum has been well treated and well fed! The room is nice, (overlooking the car park) the furniture and windows a little worn (though perfectly serviceable), the corridors bright, wide and well lit and she seems so much happier there than at her previous place. They do seem short staffed at times - but they're clearly doing the best they can given the circumstances. No issues with visiting and management receptive to relatives comments and suggestions. Manger Tracey and care manager Claire very nice people.
