I dont know how people in this company sleep at night. They treat people abysmally, whilst initially pretending to be convivial. I would just say avoid having any dealings with them if you value your mental health.

My time renting with SEP was overall great - they are slow for repairs but for important items such as no hot water or replacing broken washing machines etc they where always quick to respond for me. John Forsyth was always responsive to my enquires and helped every time. At the end my rental, the deposit clime process was the smoothest and easiest I've had. They put in a fair offer / deduction and it was all sorted.

Please do not rent from this company. They had housed my family in a very unsafe home for 750pm. We have experienced many dangers to our health and safety in this flat, a few worth noting are the only waste pipe in the bathroom bursting due to not being installed with a connector, an electrical socket sparking whilst on, a stranger called Dom (who staff at SEP claim theyve never heard of and dont employ) calling us from a withheld number to impersonate our landlord offering a solution and also disruption to our finances from an 800 electric bill we had to pay as a result of having two boilers without a timer on either one, the cost to get back into our home as a result of the barrel being installed too small for the door handle and having to provide our own repairs as we were ignored for many days (12 on the occasion our bathroom pipe had burst) after reporting each of these incidents. Along with this weve had a lack of professionalism from the renting agency, Henley Charles and staff at SEP who have undermined, spoke over and ignored our grievances. We had attempted to communicate on serval occasions causing both my partner and myself to take time off work and subsequently be left out of pocket even further. After 7 months we finally got to sit down with Chris Chell from SEP who didnt seem very interested in our experience but rather to low ball us with an offer of a 12 month tenancy in house and 6 months rent free so long as we sign an NDA. We declined and found this to be beneficial only to SEP, as we have already lost our finances, made repairs and taken care of their property despite the lack of service or security they provided. Less than 3 months later while waiting for a second offer that hopefully would benefit the time and effort we put in, we had received an eviction letter in retaliation to us declining their offer so they can now conveniently turn our property into two flats. Upon attempting to continue the communications left unresolved by SEP we found John Forsyth and Chris Chell to ignore us further until we attempted a phone conversation with Dharminder Sanghera who specified Ive heard all of this before from Henley charles and John despite this being the first conversation Ive had with him as his upset tenant and when asked if he knew this looked like a revenge eviction, he simply agreed. He then put the phone down whilst I was trying to convey that I understood what a deposit was in response to him attempting to undermine me for the third time in the conversation. If you value your family and your mental health please be responsible and do not rent a property from this company.
