Ordered the fish cakes, firstly the potato in the fish cake had no seasoning and was very bland, the tide must have been out when they went fishing as there little or no fish in them, for 10, very disappointing !

And then on the next visit, they are outstanding all around. Welcome back. What a fantastic setting to watch the decline of a once really nice breakfast and coffee shop. The breakfast menu for such a potentially outstanding venue is very limited. The beverages are well made but the service and standard for the food was not up to par nor what we have enjoyed in the past. We are a group that regularly use the venue. We had a waiter who barely grunted when engaged and had absolutely no interation skills. This is so disapointing.

Great selection of well looked after plants. Great staff with a lot of knowledge on plant selection. Clean and tidy with a welcoming atmosphere. Lovely cafe with great coffee and nice cake. Unfortunately, the prices are sky high which kind of put me off. We priced some red robins at 225. We bought ours at 160. And seen them for 70 in Charlies, Queensferry. Although they weren't as good and cared for for as others. Okells is a great, original garden centre where you buy great quality plants and garden stuff and not have to walk around a pound land style, bunch of franchised areas.
