        We had a lovely stay at The Gables, the house is in a beautiful area with a fantastic garden and only a 10 minute drive from a range of sights - castles, picturesque villages etc. The dcor is stunning and Angus is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the local area, he also cooks up a very tasty breakfast tailored for the individual. Would highly recommend staying here and hope to do so again in the future!

        We had a fabulous 2 night stay at the Gables while touring Northumberland & the Scottish boarders. The house is glorious. A real gem of a find. Our bedroom was huge, spotlessly clean with a really comfy bed & furnishings that are in keeping with the house. The bathroom was very clean & spacious too. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful, cooked to perfection & my dairy free diet was catered for. I would have no hesitation in reccomending the Gables & will definitely stay there again if I'm in the area. Thank you Angus & Claire for great hosting & sharing your home with us.
