Cardinal Cast Slates were specified by Cotswold District Council in the planning conditions for an extension to our traditional stone cottage. I am grateful to the team at Cardinal for their friendly help and cooperation at every stage from advice on roof design; to producing a precise schedule of what we would require; to delivering the order exactly when needed. One roof of the property is tiled with re-used Cotswold stone tiles and the other with Cardinal tiles - they are a perfect match and in time will be indistinguishable.

We had to replace our Stonesfield slate tiles on the roof of our 1650 Cotswold cottage. We did much research and came to the conclusion that the best answer was to specify Cardinal slates. The work has now been completed, the result is very good and we consider it a splendid product. The tiles blend perfectly with the cottage. All our neighbours have been complementary. Not only is the product good to look at and very secure it is also 50% of the cost of original slates. We are very happy. David Morgan York Cottage, Fulbrook.
