Beware of driving around Droylsden cemetery! Metal stakes have been deliberately placed within the roads leading back to the central chapel which stop cars proceeding any further and then its impossible to turn around. They havent had the courtesy or decency to place any warning signs or no entry signs either!

I entered the cemetery and walked up to the central mausoleum building to try to find out if there was any information to find my dad's grave but it was closed due to Covid. I did ask some local authority ground workers but they didn't know but advised me they could contact by phone the cemetery worker who would know and they managed to find out off him the area to look in. I eventually managed to find the grave and spent time in contemplation and thought. It was a nice day weather wise and the atmosphere was tranquil and relaxing. I was glad I went and found the grave with assistance. Wishing you Joy.
