We would highly recommend Ferns Roofing who have done 2 jobs for us. 1. Rebuilding our main chimney. 2. Installation of a new insulated fibreglass warm roof on our garden room to replace an old polycarbonate roof. We live in an old cottage which is not square or true and Andrew's attention to detail to ensure the roof and skylights were installed correctly was second to none and we are delighted with result. I employed Ferns Roofing to replace my roof, chimney and barge board and to carry out remedial work to my dormer. I have to say I was absolutely delighted with the end result and am sure I now have the best roof on my road! I was very impressed with the whole ethos of the company. Someone turned up promptly every morning and if there were any unforeseen delays Andrew Fern would ring me so I knew at all times exactly what was happening. I would highly recommend Andy and his team if you are looking for a friendly and reliable service. We always felt kept in the loop and despite the many issues which our roof presented (including a total chimney rebuild) all the work was completed as quickly and efficiently as possible. We had quotes for new flat roofs on our dormer house from various companies, the cost between a new felt roof and a fibre glass one was not that much, so we decided on the fibre glass ones by Ferns Roofing. Andrew kept us informed at every stage in the run up to the start day. When the start day came the weather was against them so the work was delayed a few weeks until they could work safely 2 storeys up, and lay the new roof without rain affecting the curing process and finish. When they started the job they were organised, tidy and very considerate of people and property. At the end of each day the site was left safe and tidy, and always left at a stage where the integrity of the roof was never compromised. A small company that trades on old school values of honesty, trust, good workmanship, and reliability, I could not recommend them more highly. Service: Roof repair
