Birches & Pine Wedding Photography

James and Rich photographed our micro wedding in December and were fantastic throughout. With guidelines changing all the time due to COVID, we had to change and postpone our plans a few times and they were brilliant about accommodating us and being flexible. And were so pleased with how the photos have come out! James and Rich have done a fantastic job at capturing all the special moments of our big day even in the most unusual circumstances. We couldnt be happier with the photos and even our friends and family have all commented on how brilliant the photos are. We absolutely would not hesitate in recommending Birches & Pine. I could not recommend Birches & Pine more strongly. The experience before, during, and after the wedding was exceptional. We were worried we might find the whole thing awkward, but James immediately made us feel at ease in front of the lens. I've even taken up photography as a hobby since the wedding, in part thanks to Birches & Pine.

We found Birches & Pine on instagram, and were really impressed by the natural and less formal approach to wedding photography that seemed to exude from the photos. Having arranged a zoom with James, we really liked their approach and he was very helpful in terms of tips on the day itself and things to be thinking about when planning our day. We had a Hindu wedding and evening reception, I was really impressed by James experience of photographing Indian weddings, but in a way that seemed relaxed. On the day, James and his team were really lovely and professional, and my husband said he felt James put him at ease, and actually felt like part of his groom's party. As a result, we often forgot they were there, in a good way! We were really blown away by the photos, which are uploaded onto an easy to use platform. There were so many amazing moments that they captured throughout the day, and they managed to get a shot of pretty much all our guests. The couple photos were stunning and can't decide which ones to frame, as they are all so beautiful. James has a real gift at spotting shots, that are original and use the venue in a different way. We loved our photos and would really recommend Birches & Pine for a wedding. Thanks so much!

These guys are the BEST! I cannot even begin to explain how amazing they have been from start to finish. Through covid they were super responsive and so helpful, they arranged everything and it was completely stress free. They really went above and beyond what we expected. Their response time is phenomenal and they made sure we had everything we wanted from both our wedding days. Everyone said how lovely they were and they got so many incredible shots! They were everywhere - a lot of people said it was like having paparazzi. It felt like friends rather than having photographers there. The quality of the photos are amazing. You wont regret choosing these guys - there is no one better!

The stars aligned when we found Birches & Pine. And we wouldn't have had it any other way! It was an emotional farewell when James and Rich left our wedding, as it genuinely felt like they became our friends. We cant recommend Birches & Pine highly enough to anyone looking for friendly, professional and amazingly talented wedding photographers. The pre-wedding shoot worked wonders in helping us feel confident having our photos taken (plus it was a lot of fun!); all our guests loved both James and Rich on the day; and we are so delighted with our vibrant and joyful wedding photos. So much so, it is proving very difficult to narrow down the list of those we want to frame in the house! Thank you so much Rich and James.
