Warning! This garage is not owned by Chris anymore! The new owner is not a mechanic and uses 3rd party mechanics to do the work! Took my car here in perfect working order for a camchain replacement in September 2022. We were originally told the job would take 2-3 days but over the course of 4 weeks the garage had to have the car back 3 times as they had messed up and caused a lot of damage! Left us with no car with a new baby and hospital appointments to get to! Bolt went through the sump, broke down after leaking out all of the oil whilst I had my 6 week old baby in the car! Came back with bolts missing, things not reattached, oil inside the car, undertray missing causing the heat shield to come off. The car still isn't right and we are taking it to a different garage to be repaired. Owner ignored us, ignored our complaints and refused to give us a refund as he has no money! Told us to just take him to court instead!

Used to always use this garage without fail before I started a job in a dealership and it was amazing, Chris did a fab job every time. Went back to this garage after a few years with an exhaust problem I believe, asked the new owner Sean to take a look, let me know what's wrong and give me a price... However no one contacted me and when I rang up at the end of the day to get an update; I was told they've replaced the whole exhaust and its going to cost me 450?!?! No one rang me, I never authorised this amount of money?! And I do not believe the WHOLE exhaust needed replacing.. Knocked 100 off the bill to say sorry.. Took the car away and as soon as I turned the engine on, the new exhaust bounced up and down hitting the body of the car every time the car was turned on. The engine bay also had now started to vibrate, this was that noticeable that I could feel it through my seat. The noise which I originally took it in for was the same. And I later found out that the exhaust they actually fitted to the car was extremely cheap (Cheap= Does not last). Took it back, they had another look, tightened a few things.. I took it away again and felt extremely unsafe still. Decided to take my car to ATS Exhausts and they ended up removing the exhaust and refitting it as it was so poorly fitted. Got back in contact with my old work, asked them to remove this cheap exhaust and fit a more expensive after- market exhaust, then returned the cheap one back to Sean and got a full refund. No problems with the exhaust from my old work which was a main Volvo dealer, noise has gone and vibrations from the engine bay which were felt through my seat have also gone. Its a shame but its not the same garage anymore, please be aware.
