Very friendly and welcoming! A real family feel to the club. Junior and Senior classes available; catering for all ages and abilities. A number of National and International medallists have represented the club who are able to provide their knowledge and experience to club members and visitors.

A very well run club with helpful, pleasent volunteers and a very knowledgeable group of coaches. All ages and abilities are catered for both male and female. The whole set up is friendly and welcoming. As all coaches are volunteers and no profit is taken costs are low and you can even get a free introductory lesson. The club is registered with the Amateur Judo Assosiation and is fully insured. I have seen the massive strides kids can make with self confidence and self worth practicing the art of judo even if they are not particularly good at the fighting part. The discipline of judo seems to help children who struggle with issues outside of the dojo also. All in all I highly recommend Kodokan Judo to any parents or children who fancy trying a martial art. Maybe it's something the family would like to try!!
