I have used Little Chicken Marketing to gain some marketing advice for my self-publishing business. Jo, the Owner/MD of LCM, was very supportive in listening and achieving clarity on what my objectives were. I already had a plan, which she thankfully did not dismiss, but instead provided her vast marketing expertise to help me refine it appropriately in order to maximise opportunity of reaching my objectives. Strategically, this was extremely helpful. I felt we were on the same page - and that quickly built my trust and confidence. As part of the tactical plan that Jo helped me set out, I gained some brilliant advice and understanding of how best to utilise social media for my books. Three months ago, my Instagram account was a personal one and not particularly used. I had a handful of followers. Before engaging Jo and LCM, I hadnt fully realised the power of Instagram for my kind of business. Within two months of following the tactical plan set out by LCM, I had quadrupled my followers and because Im applying the LCM thinking of measure everything to my media mix, Im actually seeing sales as a result of that social media channel! So Im working it more. Jo has furnished me with the insight capability to pull the right levers at the right time due to the marketing measurements she helped me put in place as part of my plan. Ive got a lot more work to do, but Im seeing good growth and this has been of enormous advantage to book sales in a highly saturated market. Jo is an amazing professional, so easy to work with, with creativity and lots of experience. Her flexibility of working on simple or complex projects to support a business on a marketing strategy and/or execution is outstanding. LCMs capability to guide and support a business through their requirements is of enormous help. Ive also seen first hand her hints and tips through her Instagram account also helping many in their marketing planning. Jo feels like an extension of your own company, really getting to know your business - but without having the overhead of a full time headcount. All the marketing skills, on-demand.
