It would be easier to list what was not to like. The listed house is set in lovely grounds. Apart from the odd car the only noise is from the birds. The house is beautifully decorated and complements this stunning house. All rooms were clean and tastefully furnished. Our room was the Queen room that had a lovely four poster bed. Ample room with other peices of furniture that completed this en-suite room. Bedding and towels were clean and fresh with daily room service. Breakfast well what can i say you are absolutely spoilt for choice. Cereals fresh fruit muesli yoghurt toast and jams tea coffee orange juice and the good old cooked breakfast that had a list as long as your arm and was delivered piping hot. Last but not least the hosts Alison and Alan ( Al n Al ) who went above and beyond. Very friendly very informative and always had time to chat. Would highly recommend Carlton Green.
