        Unusual place. Had a spa afternoon with afternoons tea. Friendly people. Could do with a little updating maze of corridors with small rooms off. Swimming pool was very cold. And spa pool hurt your eyes with amount of chlorine fumes. Spa treatments ok. Treatment rooms out dated and very small. The afternoon tea was very different, we were put in a room with a wake going on not very private the bell inn/pub needs major renovations toilets very unpleasant. Very old fashioned. Service Was slow and food ok. Lemon cake was in edible. Overall wouldnt recommend.

        We went to day for a late Xmas offer. Ladies were lovely and treatment could not fault. However it was very dated. No one actually showed us around on arrival so had to work out where things were. Steam room not working. The Jet Spa roof not working so was not allowed in. No hot chocolate, some of the jets not working in the jacuzzi. Just a shame really as it could be a lovely place with some TLC
