Good facilities and swimming pool compared to others in the area. Where it lacks is the gym with a very small gym which really should be bigger for how many members and with better equipment, gym also lacks any real atmosphere so can be demotivating at times

We came from London for a holiday to nearby Burton agnes, we came as a group so we wanted to enjoy ourselves privately, Darren the manager went out of his way and gave us an exceptional time slot, we really enjoyed ourselves, its a lovely swimming pool, large and clean. Would recommend this place to everyone.

I come here as a volunteer with Kingsmill so have only seen certain parts of the centre. The parts I've seen look very clean, organised and tidy. The staff I've come across have been kind, professional and experienced with disabled people. Sadly, so many gyms aren't. The instructions and demonstrations staff gave were clear and helpful. If someone was unsure on something, the staff member would go through it with the person one to one. The equipment I've used has been in brilliant shape and varied. The one thing I would say though is that the lift had been out of order for at least 2 weeks which means people unable to use stairs will have to miss out. I know someone who had to miss out whilst their friends got to have fun and do the circuit. Other than the lift issue, the place does seem accessible to wheelchair users. It just might be worth calling to make sure the lift is working before setting off, especially if you're coming from further away. The experience at this centre and the one in Beverley is pushing me more to signing up with East Riding leisure centres. They seem to be far better with disabled people than the ones I've visited in Hull.
