All the gear....no idea. Problems all the way through the stay. The venue is OK as a restaurant but as a hotel it fails in a lot of ways. Manager...sort the heating out and don't knowingly let an 80 year old lady have a room that you knew the radiators weren't working. Staff said they had spoke to my mum offering a fan heater, but this conversation just did not happen. Ensure you have enough stock for breakfast.....told by chef there wasn't anything left. Your walls are paper thin. We were disturbed constantly by overhead rooms and next door rooms, both early in the morning and late at night. We were told by reception to swap rooms with my mum as she was deaf and that would solve it. Got the feeling the 15% discount was something they dish out per company policy. As regard to location it's a far cry from anywhere else we've stayed in the Cotswolds. On a very busy road, not set back at all, so lots of road noise.

I love this place. Staff great from the first interaction, if only other place did the same simple thing makes all the difference to start the evening. We had many dishes from the menu as there were 4 of us and 2 paws on the floors. If you have never been there are many areas to eat in, the river side, outside pods, patios, heated garden spaces, private dinning rooms 2, and of course the restaurant. Any excuse to go then do it you will not be disappointed.
