We have just returned home after spending a glorious week with family at Life Hill Farm. The accommodation was spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Fay and Andrew are wonderful hosts, warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were blessed with warm sunshine and most mornings ate breakfast on the terrace where the only sounds in the peaceful surroundings were the birds chattering away. We saw hares running around and a barn owl flying back to the nesting box on the end of a barn in which a camera has been set up. Fay and Andrew invited us into their kitchen where they have a screen showing the Owls in their box. One egg hatched before we left so we did get to see a chick. What a treat! We didn't want to leave. We would thoroughly recommend staying here if you want, peace, wildlife, easy access to wonderful walking, great local eateries with huge portions, great star gazing and really lovely hosts.
