Brookside Boarding Kennels & Cattery

I took my dog here for the first time and it was lovely my dog was very relaxed. Lovely clean place and lovely people. Heated kennels. We will certainly be using brookside again. Thank you for your excellent service

Positive: It's cheap Negative: We left our cat with her blanket and a toy to reassure her, but these were put away with her carrier, so she had no access to them. This is concerning as it shows a lack of understanding of cat behaviour. The kennel was dark and dingy, and although there was access to an outside area, this was only via a cat hole, making collection difficult. Our cat left more distressed than when she arrived, something that has not happened at dedicated catteries. After paying and collecting, we recieved a call claiming we hadn't paid. It turned out the staff had not completed their own paperwork.

Not sure if I would use the Cattery again. They didnt seem to give the type of food I said my cat eats even though they asked on arrival. My cat seemed very hungry when he got home. The rooms are small and dingy. It is cheaper than most catteries but I guess that comes with a lack of quality too.

First time leaving mine and my friends dogs here for 2 weeks, was really nervous about kennels but Brookside kennels have totally reassured me! The dogs were so happy here, they were able to share a kennel so they could stay together. Manager kept us updated whilst we were on holiday how they were getting on and sent pictures which was lovely. They were groomed as requested before collection and have done wonders deshedding my husky x GS. Will definitely use Brookside kennels again and would 100% recommend Pic attached of my happy boy on collection!
