Ian carried out a full structural survey for us on a house we are purchasing. He was very knowledgeable and wrote us a very detailed report highlighting lots of important findings. He is very easy to deal with, squeezed us in at short notice and turned around the report quickly. Ian carried out a survey for us on a semi detached house we are buying. We were very impressed by the detail and depth to the report (RICS level 2 home buyers survey). It contained detailed photos of the property including the roof and guttering. The report was also delivered in the timelines given and it was clear that Ian had taken on board the plans we had in mind for potential extensions on the property. He also recommended local companies to assist with works needed on the property We were very impressed that Ian had also taken the opportunity to speak with neighbouring properties to gather further information which was included within the report. Would highly recommend and use Ian again for future surveys.

Ian was able to conduct a comprehensive buildings survey at very short notice in support of my property purchase. His report was delivered in the timelines promised. Very clearly structured and laid out, easy to read, plenty of helpful high-quality images. Ian set out a series of clear recommendations and made himself available for follow up questions. I particularly appreciate the effort that Ian took to understand our intended use for the property and our own personal preferences with respect to low-carbon energy options, and he reflected this in his recommendations. Ian also clearly built a good rapport with the seller. The seller shared additional insights, photographs etc. that enriched the report that Ian prepared. Cannot recommend highly enough. I can absolutely recommend Summerfield. & Co for anyone requiring a house survey. Ian was always quick to reply and organized the survey in a timely fashion. The report was excellent and thorough. The price for the service was extremely competitive and worth every penny !

Ian was excellent from start to finish, really took the time to understand what we needed, looked at the house and made a clear and reasoned recommendation on a Level 3 survey. Ian was thorough throughout, took lots of clear photos, and took the time to talk us through the findings of the survey afterwards and give his advice, which was very much appreciated. We would use Ian again and recommend him without hesitation.
