        Decent food, poor choice of beer, mediocre atmosphere, good service. From the outside this is a typical nice old pub on the village green. Inside, the historic charm has been designed out to deliver airport terminal bland. We were served a slightly above average pub lunch in a glum box of an extension room, with no atmosphere of, well, anything, just dull. The service was excellent. The bitter and amber ale taps were both shut off and the only ale wa a mediocre IPA.
