Had the best fish and chips here, hubby and I both agreed this. Looking forward to my next visit already. Walkability: Beautiful scenic walks

This used to originally be a lovely cosy pub. Welcoming, warm and friendly. Then a restaurant and now since reopening under James Places, we went for a meal with friends. Quite quiet, but the food was good. However, by 9.30pm it became apparent that we should be thinking of leaving. We were asked if we wanted to pay the bill, whilst still finishing drinks. Background music was turned off, glasses cleared, then just after 10pm we were told that they were closing. We said our goodbyes and as soon as we had exited the front door it was promptly slammed behind us! Need I say more. Food & drinks: Lovely food.
