        Stayed for a night for my son's birthday, beautiful location and Nicky the Owner was a great host, the rooms were spotless, cosy and warm, lovely little details and a home from home, breakfast was yum and she really went above and beyond! We were sad to leave, would definitely recommend a visit and if we're ever that way again we'll definitely rebook, great value for money as well.

        2023 review: Took my walking group to Dowlish Wake on Wednesday 22nd March. Parking in the pub car park we had a lovely walk through the countryside returning to The New Inn for lunch. 12 lovely lunches served swiftly. Good quality well presented food. Very friendly and helpful hostess. We all enjoyed it at The New Inn and will return. 2020 review "An oasis, comfortable, warm, pleasing, fabulous food and fine ale."
