I bought a load of season tickets (and since found out that they were the same price that I could travel with all the other ferry companies on a one way ticket, so wasnt a bulk buy bargain anyway!) and straight after they sacked all their staff and the whole company went on strike so I had to pay to use another ferry company for travelling, when P & O were eventually opened again they refused to extend my season tickets longer than 4 weeks, so now I cant use them all up in 4 weeks so have had to throw them all away at great loss to myself. I will do utmost best to never travel with this rogue company ever again! Hope everyone boycotts this awful company for sacking all their staff. They are using foreign staff who arent helpful and theyve even closed their restaurant too so you have to buy a cardboard box with rubbish food in it and eat with wooden cutlery.

Poor state of the ferry, as we came up from lower decks where you park your car to passenger deck it smelt like a toilet. Food didnt look appealing, shopping area without much choice and general condition of the ferry quite old and tired. Plus it was an hour late. Pride of Cantebury, early August sailing.
