I instructed Cason Green to be the structural engineer for my building job. They came to do a site visit pretty quickly, drew up plans and delivered their plans within 2 weeks and charged me. Service levels at that time were good and I was impressed. However, I gave their plans to my builder. There was so much crucial information missing from the engineering plans that they were almost useless to use for the build. No foundation detail, no detail as to how to join the steels, and one steel was shown just floating in mid air (later, it turned out that steel was not needed at all). It turned out that their plans were completely deficient. My builder tried several times to get in touch with Cason Green to get the missing information but were either ignored or fobbed off. Cason Green didnt not resolve the situation, revisit the site or do anything to help. Theyd been paid, they did not care any more. So we had to engage another structural engineer to do a proper job. For me, Cason Green were a total waste of time and money. I hate to leave negative reviews as I know it can have such a negative impact on small businesses. But the above is purely factual. In my experience, Cason Green have completely ripped me off. My advice, AVOID Cason Green at all costs.
