Sudden changes to my plans meant that I needed somewhere to stay quickly in Dover. Although the company website was a pain to use when I made the booking, when I arrived at the Premier Inn between Dover and Folkestone, I was welcomed by a friendly guy on reception and directed to my room, which was spacious, light, well decorated and with, what looked like a recently remodelled modern bathroom with bath and shower. After a wonderful soak in the bath, I had the best night's sleep I'd had in quite a long time. The bed was so comfortable. The room was really quiet - surprisingly, given the number of cars in the car park suggesting high room occupancy. I went for breakfast (a bargain at 9.99) and the young lady who was running front of house was efficient and friendly. I had a great, leisurely breakfast looking out towards fields. I checked out feeling thoroughly refreshed. A really great stay. At just over 60 it was definitely value for money.
