It is difficult for me to understand why they dont have the forethought to order medication in advance of a customer attending to pick up their prescription. The GP sends an electronic referral to the pharmacy which basically means "patient will be in to pick up this medication in a few days". You'd think the staff at the pharmacy would think "oh, we dont have any of that medication so we had better order it to be here when the customer comes" but no. They only order medication when you turn up to collect it. This has happened several times to me. You have to attend a minimum of twice to collect most medications. Today they still didn't have my medication, despite leaving it two days when they said "come back tomorrow" so I went to Grace Pharmacy just down the road instead.
The staff at White Cliffs seem clueless, disinterested and slow, wandering around, chatting and laughing whilst there's a growing queue of customers who will all be waiting 20+ minutes, as is the norm.
It's a horrible pharmacy overall, really poor experience, and to top it all off you get no phone signal inside. It's like the building is lead-lined. You would be better off going to Argos - you'll have just as much luck getting your prescription but at least the wait will be quicker.
