I don't recommend this home in any way. We've just moved Mum as she wasn't being cared for properly. The living rooms smell of urine, as do a lot of the residents. There is no manager in place and no real structure for crucial things for dementia patients like toileting. Also, the people currently caretaking the place made some serious allegations about me/our family to our new local care home which was a really nasty end to a significant period of time in our lives where Mum had previously been very happy. No regrets, we won't ever be back...

Dad has been at Willow Park since the beginning of January 2018 and from the first time he went for a few hours and had lunch to see how he got on, to moving in permanently soon after, the care has been fantastic. All the staff are very attentive and friendly, but also professional. Whenever I have needed a chat there has been somebody available. They are always engaged with the residents with plenty of organised activities, and the ethos is that they are in the residents' home and are there to support, encourage and help. I am totally confident that Dad is in good hands. Communication has always been very good, and there are regular family meetings where we can meet with the Manager and discuss any matters and make suggestions. These are very open, social meetings and receptive to ideas and feedback. Everywhere is spotless and bright with plenty of space. After a lot of searching and visiting residential homes, I am 100% confident I have made the right decision for Dad.
