This was our first time visiting here. We saw on Facebook about the archaeology dig that was going on along with the activities the kids could do and decided to head down to see what was happening. It was so interesting looking at all the things that had been found and the kids found it really interesting. The people were lovely and explained things to the kids along with the history behind it. We started off making our own gargoyles out of modelling clay after being shown what the activity involved and got stuck in. We had loads of fun. We then headed outside where we saw what was happening at the dig site and then the kids got involved digging through buckets to have a go at finding their own finds. The whole experience was amazing and my daughter came away from it wanting to be an archaeologist when she grows up. If Canterbury archaeological trust have another event on we will definitely be there.

I attended a stamp fair. Good sized Hall for such an event and parking is free on Sundays. There is no food or drink available however.
