I can imagine the shop was busy over the Christmas period so I told Stacey I was ok to wait. Luckily it was also my mums 70th birthday towards the end of January which gave me a second chance to gift this.
The pattern of communication would be myself asking questions and then Stacey not responding and taking days, at one point a week, before hearing back. Communication was terrible and mixed messages were delaying this simple order longer than it needed to be. At one point I was asked suddenly if I was going in that day as though wed arranged it when we hadnt. Before Id received any messages with updates or even prices. Finally, after arranging a set time to visit the shop to collect the order, I arrived to find the shop was closed. I had received no message from Stacey to explain the shop was now closed. I tried to contact her via Facebook after calling her number and leaving a voicemail. Eventually she sent a text saying she wasnt feeling well and would send someone else to open the shop and asked for my phone number (which Id already left in my voicemail). By this point wed already had to leave to visit my Mum for her birthday empty handed. She said some of the order was already printed so I decided to give this shop yet another chance at rectifying the issue, however after going in this time, Stacey had then printed the wrong image after I clearly informed her there was an update weeks before which, when I checked our messages, hadnt been acknowledged. When I asked about this she said the updated image quality wasnt high enough so shed just printed the image I said I didnt want to use rather than contacting me and asking for a better quality image.
Both opportunities to present this gift were missed and the gesture completely ruined, and what was supposed to be a fun gift turned into a frustrating ordeal leaving me disappointed and embarrassed. I would have loved to have supported a local business but due to the many basic errors and erratic responses I cannot recommend this shop. Finally, theres been no apology for this mess, which even as minimal goodwill gesture would have been well received.
