Had a very poor meal at a social event last night, everyone agreed at the table the food and service was poor. Some, not all staff were very unhelpful and in cases rude. A vegetarian at our table didnt get the meal he ordered and was given no choice of an alternative. Staff seemed inexperienced and were struggling to do their jobs. The food itself was of poor quality and many comments were made that it put them in memories of 1970s school dinners . We left hungry and a lot of our party simply didnt eat.
