Would be a drive to any major walking place.
The reception had a little shop for anything you need and a bar. Think this would be boring for kids. Good for adults

Walkability: 6 miles away from town, in the middle of nowhere which is exactly what I wanted. Lovely little walks around.
Food & drinks: Lovely eat in and takeaway menu.
