Grove House Nursery School and Children's Centre

Grove house is a wonderful nursery, the level of care provided is superb. The staff nurture the children providing an environment to be independent and the understanding that every child is unique. This nursery encompasses teaching, learning and pastoral care. Thank you for everything you do for my child and all the other children you look after.

Im very happy with everything ,specially staff so supportive,caring,good listeners. Nice environment for kids to learn and do activities.i see alot change in my kid Special Thanks to all staff(teachers)he learn alot things ,i see him growing every day . Thanks

We had put our daughter to Grove House Nursery and had an extremely unpleasant experience contrary to what we had expected given the "Outstanding rating". Our daughter's finger was narrowly saved from being chopped off due to the gap within the doors. The staff would send the child home early for the first month on the excuse that it's a settling in period even when the child was happy to continue to stay and it was a paid service. There was also a poor communication between the staff and what we agreed with the head of the nursery. Staff had no interest to ensure that our daughter ate properly and if she was hungry and didn't like the food she is offered, staff wouldn't bother to ensure that she ate something else. They also charged us full 30 for the portfolio file when our child stayed for only 1 month. That contained just two of her photographs. Stay away from these greedy people. Their whole approach to childcare is based on extracting money from parents in one form or another for any excuse. Money is their prime motive and not childcare.

We were recommended Grove House Nursery by some friends. My son started at the nursery when he was 1years old, hes now turning 4. Our experience with Grove House Nursery from the start has been exceptional. The staff working at the nursery are professional and friendly. His key workers have always kept us informed about his progress and have been very supportive in any concerns we have had. In the time at the nursery, we were supported in potty training, baby led weaning, learning to speak and also sleep training. Lunches and snacks are prepared at the nursery, which are fresh and healthy, and different everyday. My son comes home very happy, hes formed some lovely friendships with other children and even the staff at Grove. I highly recommend this Nursery.
