The worst medical Center that Ive ever come across, the receptionist are there to make your life miserable, its so hard to get an appointment, no matter how unwell you are, What I dont understand is, why the heck are the doctors there for, if you cant get an appointment???!!! There should enquires done to check exactly whats going here, because this is an acceptable.

My experience with Dormers Wells Medical centre over the past 2years have been appalling. Its hard to book an appointment with the GP ( it's a first come first serve basis). You cannot contact the GP and arrange an appointment in the week ..you have to call and wait in the que every morning until a receptionist answers the phone, and the appointment will only be for that day you called. Your promised call backs and they never call back.. you have to chase them for an update all the time. It is a very difficult medical centre to be with as there have been instances where I've had to call "111" emergency services to raise my concerns as there was little help from my GP. When speaking to staff over the phone it is very short conversations explaining they can't help ..must call next day.. pretty much being palmed off as usual. I swapped GP practices 2 years ago because Dormers Wells medical centre was newly built, very close to my home .. i felt they would be more competent than Jubilee Gardens medical centre.. over time I've discovered the level of service is much worse in comparison.. I hope Dormers medical centre do something about the way they operate to make residents like myself feel confident in the system and can attend to patient concerns more efficiently when raised.

This was once a great surgery. Sadly no longer. The GPs are not interested in anything you are telling them and rather give generic answers and not specific to your needs. Issues can go on for over a year and still nothing will be done about it. Sadly community and patient care is not important and is very evident in how badly the standards have fallen at this surgery. I would love to go into more detail but if you want to avoid any upset and actually get help please look at other options as you wont get any answers here. Look at the number of one star reviews, that is the clue.
