I gave them a call to enquire about a car. They were very rude and impolite, stay away from them.

Shocking service. Bought a car from this company in November 2020. Have not been able to drive the car since collecting it, as the head gasket had gone and car was smoking and overheating at the click and collect point. One brake light was out even though an MOT certificate had been issued the day before. Draw your on conclusions there. Several empty promises to rectify the problem since then, but here we are in September 2021 and the car is still sitting undriven on my driveway. Have now started court proceedings. It's terribly sad when a trader like this lets the industry down. One saves and makes a purchase in good faith only to be treated in this way. I understand that not everything in life runs smoothly and therefore patience and understanding are important, but after 10 months of broken promises, I have run short on patience. Customer service does not appear to be a high priority with this company and I would steer clear of London City Cars if looking to purchase a vehicle.

Cars left on roads around the area, no one accompanied me to look at the cars and they were all rusted and filthy. Staff were polite and was trusted with keys.

Tuned up to see 3 cars which was all confirmed to be there 45minutes prior to arriving. 1 was non existent and 1 apparently had a deposit put onto it but was not present there. the last 1 i couldn't see as the person wasn't even at the dealership and stuck in traffic 42 minutes away. Then I got shouted at and cursed and threatened. Avoid is an understatement.
