        Having heard good things, we had lunch at the Gardent as a family and were not disappointed! Delicious food, generous portions and fair pricing; and a lovely interior and ambience. Would definitely recommend! Hoping that they will extend their hours to include dinner service in the near future .

        Lovely food, the staff are very friendly. Lovely environment, all and all would definitely suggest eating here if you enjoy a family friendly environment with good food.

        The food and staff in the restaurant are excellent. The food is a bit simple but very good quality. The opening hours are very strange. Due to that we will not be able to visit as often as we would like to. Only 3 stars due to the current dog policy. It was quite unexpected that we had to eat in the kind of entrance area. Dorking is rather a dog friendly place, with such a policy you are excluding a rather large group of customers.
