Did the SingleTrack Improver course (with 2 mates) on Sunday last week. Danielle, course leader, was hugely knowledgeable, skilled and experienced in coaching, really helping us improve our technique in manuals, cornering and braking. Then did a guided ride around the Surrey Hills which was excellent. A brilliant day out on the bike with plenty to practice and improve!

This is the second Singletrack School course I've attended and I have found both invaluable for improving my MTB skills and knowledge. I don't have a lot of spare time (or money) so wanted to get the most out of the courses and felt that in both instances I did. As a side the coaches were incredibly professional and knowledgeable, and I couldn't fault them on any front.

A very well run and organised course. The joining instructions were comprehensive and I received a warm welcome on the morning I arrived. I've been riding for 20 years in the Surrey Hills but was still able to learn loads from the excellent instructor Luke who put together a great mornings ride. I'll definitely be using Singletrack school in the future.

Relaxed Mountain Bike Tuition I took the Single Track Improver course in October at Holmbury Hill, Surrey. The joining instructions gave clear instructions on what equipment to bring, my responsibilities and liability was, a chance for me to say what my experience level is and what I wanted to get from the course. My tutor Andy made the session fun and appropriate to my level of experience quickly building my confidence and ability. It has given me plenty to work on and develop. I took part in the guided ride in the afternoon guided by Danielle and another leader. They chose appropriate trails for the ability of the group, told us which routes to follow and any hazards to be aware of or avoid. This was a great intro into the many trails of the Surrey Hills. The course and the ride met all my expectations. I'd thoroughly recommend Single Track School.

I suggest going direct to freelance coaches who are not employed by this company, which adds limited or no value to the process for the extra cost. Completely unhelpful and unwilling to be flexible when I was unable to attend due to unforeseen events. They ask full payment upfront then refuse any flexibility if you can't make it. Don't pay upfront and don't use them if you expect any sort of reasonable customer service.
