I was told that the building will be ready by Q4 2022.
Now in mid September, they suddenly told me the building work will be delayed and the flat will be ready in June 2023.
I went to see the construction site, there is no one working on this site right now. I don't see any changes made since May 2022.
I want to know what have they done in the last 5 months. They haven't done anything on the site.
The agency told me that there were many peolle reserved a flat using the government's Help to Buy scheme. However, because of the delay they won't be able to purchase a flat any more. Moreover, it's too late to give them update, they won't be able to purchase other flats now.
I wasn't using the scheme, however, I simply ran out of my patience. They should have updated us earlier about the delay. Now it's Q4 and it becomes more difficult to purchase a property.
I sent a couple of messages to the company, but no one has responded. Service: Home building
