Called into the Dorking branch, as we had encountered difficulty with the online facilities. The team were really friendly and helpful and special mention goes to Adam for his patience and assistance in setting up an account. Sometimes a little human interaction is all it takes and its good to see some local branches remaining open.

I was experiencing some personal issues and needed advice and help. I called the Dorking branch where a lovely man explained things to me and gave me lots of options. I had to go into the branch on 9th September and the same gentleman helped me so much and, in my opinion, went over and above to help me. Thank you so very much.

Great experience so far. Opened children account for my son of 11 yo. Free card allowing all operations securely. Always available on the phone and in person, unlike with other banks.

Having been a Nationwide account holder for many years it was an obvious if nervous decision to switch my current account arrangements from Lloyds Dorking prior to their closure next March, their re-location to Epsom not being particularly convenient to me. The fact that Nationwide do all the searching to switch all and any arrangements from Lloyds for me is a major plus and that I was helped through preliminary discussions and the subsequent triggering of the switching of the accounts by Adam Cavannah was a big help, and good luck to him. It was and is the human touch that I found most re-assuring in a rapidly changing domestic banking world for which I am grateful. Long may it last !
