Sunninghill Weddings

We were delighted to have chosen Sunninghill for our wedding which finally took place on 28th May after 2 postponements due to covid. Jacky was brilliant from the start helping us to plan our special day, even with the disappointment of the postponements she made things so much easier and was always on hand to answer questions. The day was absolutely perfect, we were very lucky with the weather but had still chosen to have our ceremony in the garden room which was beautifully decorated and arranged by Jackys team. Everything ran like clockwork from the moment I arrived as I had chosen to get ready in the bridal room. Nothing was too much trouble and Laura was a great help getting me into my dress x The venue is such a lovely place everyone commented on it, and we had some lovely photographs within the house as well as outside, the grounds were beautiful for the outdoor photographs. We had the most wonderful day and we would thoroughly recommend Sunninghill as a wedding venue, with Jacky and her team behind the scenes organising from our plans, it really was perfect. As a wedding photographer, Sunninghill is an amazing wedding venue to work at and an amazing place to achieve beautiful wedding photos. The main lawn its amazing for outdoor ceremonies, couple portraits, cocktail hour and group photos! It's also amazing if your looking for dreamy, backlit evening portraits as the sunsets onto the lawn nicely. It also has lovely scenery around, with trees surrounding the area, its hard to believe your in a busy town when your there! Jacky and the team are always so warm and welcoming, not only to couples and their guests, but also suppliers on your wedding day. They support is not only on the wedding day but through social media and word of mouth after. Their indoor ceremony/breakfast/party room is amazing too. With the light walls and ceiling, its perfect to use flash, so you are guarantied beautiful bright images. Even without flash during the day, with the large windows overlooking the lawn, lots of natural light is let into the room. To conclude, I absolutely love working at Sunninghill. We had our wedding at Sunninghill last month and had the most perfect day thanks to Jacky and her team. Even with rain on and off we had a beautiful backdrop inside the venue. The staircase and stain glass windows are stunning for photos. Whilst we didn't get to use the grounds to full potential with guests, the photos we did have outside really captured the lovely autumnal colours. Having a package where tableware, flowers etc were included took a lot of stress away and helped with cost. Having Jacky on hand to help plan and answer any question big or small really took the worry away. The location was brilliant for guests with parking and the train nearby. It really is a hidden gem and we are so glad we found it! Thank you all Mr & Mrs Connolly

My husband Chris and I were married at Sunninghill on 4th June this year. Sunninghill is a very picturesque venue with a rich local history, and we could not be happier with the service provided by Jacky and the staff. Jacky was extremely accommodating when we chose to postpone our wedding by a year, and she and the team worked hard to give us the beautiful outdoor ceremony we chose (and a backup plan, of course!) We had close to 70 guests during the day, who were all very well looked after and catered for. Even with more evening guests, there was plenty of room inside the venue and on the veranda and grounds for everyone to feel very comfortable. I also made use of the bridal changing suite, which was beautifully set up, and it was a real relief to be onsite and ready. It was also amazing to have Laura available to help with my dress! We never had any doubt during the planning or on the day, that anything would be less than well organised and run. Our wedding day was perfect, and we couldnt have done it without the team at Sunninghill and their partner vendors.
